Credentials

A member of the State Bars of Michigan, Florida and Colorado, Mr. Miller has successfully litigated matters in Florida, Illinois, and Arkansas, as well as before the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Florida Court of Appeals, and the Michigan Supreme Court. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Miller was selected to the Michigan SuperLawyers list for Real Estate during 2018-2022, and as a DBusiness Top Lawyer in 2019-2020.

Since 2007, Mr. Miller has served as the Chair of the Legislative Committee of the Property Management Association of Michigan (PMAM), a statewide apartment industry organization. He was awarded the 2020 Business Person of the Year Award from the PMAM. He is also a four-time recipient of the PMAM President’s Award for his service to the organization. While serving as Chair, Mr. Miller has helped draft a number of bills which have been enacted into law and others which remain under consideration in the Michigan Legislature to benefit the rental housing industry. He has also served as Chair of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Michigan Region and is an Associate National Commissioner of the ADL.
